Ultrasonic Tightness Tester
This lightweight and user friendly ultrasonic leak detector has been designed to locate leaks and identify failures in the seals of any closing appliances or compartments, such as weathertight doors on maritime vessels, watertight doors (WTDs) or windows on any structures from transportation vehicles to offshore oil & gas platforms.

Ultrasonic testing provides a simple and reliable method of checking seals of any closing appliances or structures.
Cygnus Hatch Sure solution comprises a lightweight transmitter (battery powered) and a receiver coupled with telescopic extension inspection microphones.
The transmitter is powerful: 19 ultrasound emitters (40 kHz) distribute an omni-directional field of sound which uniformly fills the areas under test.
With the sealing infrastructure closed, the receiver will then detect any ultrasound that gets through any gaps in the closed door or compartment and displays the sound that has been detected, thus identifying the location of damaged seals and associated leaks quickly and reliably.
