Cygnus Transducer Handler: S1
Specifically designed for performing UTM surveys on ships’ hulls with an observation or light work-class ROV. Two sets of magnets first grip the hull plate which then allows the UT transducer to tilt and align to the hull surface – which naturally ensures optimal measurement position and therefore the most optimal measurement. The S1 transducer holder is constructed from acetal with stainless steel fixings to keep the overall weight down for smaller ROVs.
