Inspection Equipment for Rope Access
Rope access is the act of using ropes to work at height which is widely used for the non-destructive inspection (NDT) of high structures and other inaccessible places including:
- Offshore structures
- Storage Tanks
- Bridges
- Masts, towers
- Transmission towers
The Cygnus 2+ Hands Free gauge has an end-mounted LCD display that makes it perfect for inspection work via rope access or climbing. The gauge is supplied with a wrist-strap and also a neck-strap – so the unit can be worn around the surveyor’s neck (or clipped on to a harness with the optional belt clip) and the display viewed from above.
The Cygnus 2 PLUS has Multiple-Echo mode and can also be used in Echo-Echo and Single-Echo modes for particularly heavy corrosion.
The Cygnus 6+ features both an end-mounted LCD display and a large front LCD display which offers extra options on how the gauge can be held or attached and then viewed while in use. This gauge also allows for hassle-free reporting with comprehensive datalogging capabilities.
