Cygnus Transducer Handler W1
This heavy duty solution is built from 316 stainless steel and designed for work-class ROVs. The W1 transducer handler can be held by a manipulator arm with either a T bar or Fish Tail handle. The innovative double-jointed coupling provides a full 15 degrees of movement in both planes - guided by four pins that act like finger tips - giving optimal alignment. A powerful shock absorbing spring reduces any impact. Any misalignment will then be taken up by the coupling resulting in less movement of the manipulator arm position.
The Cygnus W1 Transducer Handler is designed for Work Class ROVs.

We have used the probe handler W1 on a few projects in the North Sea and Baltic Sea with our ROV Panther XTP and it has proved to be a very useful and productive tool allowing us to carry out a UT reading within seconds whether it was probing a flat surface or a rounded surface, due to its design it is the perfect handle for subsea UT probing.
